CHRISTMAS ANGEL TREE PROJECT
Christmas Angel Tree
"Give the gift of a family" this Christmas to the children who remain "unmatched" in our Waiting Angels Gallery. They may never know you, but your generous sponsorship towards the cost of a family adopting them is the most profound gift they could ever hope to receive.
For those of you who are new to our ministry, Reece's Rainbow promotes the international adoption of children with Down syndrome. (120) children with Down syndrome and other special needs have found adoptive families in only 2 years!! Donations from private individuals, businesses, and other charitable foundations have made it possible to provide adoption grants for nearly every child, meaning families have had the financial support they need to make a commitment. They have been able to rescue one or more of these precious children from orphanages and mental institutions around the world.
Our Christmas Angel Tree Project is our #1 fundraiser for the year. This is the only time when ALL of our waiting children with Down syndrome are openly visible and eligible for grant donations. By sponsoring a child today, you get to share in the joy of uniting families with very deserving children. The average cost of an international adoption is $25,000, so every penny we are able to raise can literally change the course of a child's life! And remember, 100% of your tax deductible donation goes directly to your sponsored child. Reece's Rainbow covers the cost of Paypal fees, shipping, printing, etc. (donations to our Raising Awareness fund are always welcome to help support these costs.)
With your sponsorship gift of $35 or more (per child), donors will receive a beautiful porcelain ornament, with your sponsored child's photo on the back, to hang on your Christmas Tree! Even if you are not Christian, you can still make a tremendous difference in the life of one or more of these children. If you prefer to NOT have an ornament sent to you, just let us know. The Angel Tree is a very meaningful and personal Christmas gift donation opportunity. We will send the ornament, along with a beautiful gift card, announcing your gift to the intended recipient. These are great gifts for your friends, family, teachers, therapists, etc! International sponsors are welcome as well!
We invite you to browse the profiles of our families who are already home with their children, and those who are in various stages of the international adoption process. We are so excited about the remarkable success this ministry has already enjoyed (120+ children with Down syndrome and other special needs have found their families in only two years), and the MIRACLE that grant donations from this Angel Tree Project will mean for each of these beautiful children!

ANASTASIA
Anastasia
Girl, Born March 31, 2005
Nastya is a precious little girl with dark brown hair and hazel/brown eyes. She is able to stand on her own, and pull up, but she is not walking on her own yet. She is typically a very active little girl though, and will really blossom in a loving family! She was born with a VSD, so she will need to be followed by a cardiologist when she gets home .
She is already 3 1/2, so she is living on borrowed time.
Anastasia and Tonya are in the same orphanage, and can be adopted together for very little additional cost. Please consider saving both of them!
I have $250 in my grant fund towards the cost of my adoption!

Just wanted to sneak in here and leave you a message and to let you know that I love you.
I am so glad that you are my aunt. I will always have all the special memories of everything that we have done together. I have seen all the pictures of you rocking me to sleep when I was a baby and smiling down at me. You always took the time to make me feel special even though you were very busy with your own children. Your door was always opened to all of us and I am sure everyone feels the same way about you as I do. You were always there to lend and ear, a shoulder to cry on, a smile, a hug, a kiss, and an I love you no matter what. You have seen seen me through everything in life and now that I am grown and have a niece I want to be there for her as you were for me. You will always be like a second mom to me.
Love ya

Approx. 40 beautiful children where taken from the baby houses and transferred to institutions. There is no guarentee that these children will be able to be adopted at this point. Have not heard yet on who the children were or if any of them have already been committed to. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers. Together we will be there for each other during this time as the family unit that we have become.
Please keep the Malone family and the Loux family in your prayers during their time of need.
Linda is also over there on a long journey as again plans were halted and she has except new referrals for 2 different girls. She has said that at this time it may take until March to bring them home.
Please take a few minutes to look at all the christmas angel tree children and remember that all donations go towards thier adoptions. Any donation of $35 or more will get you a beautiful christmas ornament with the child you are donating to.

This little beauty won our hearts over from the start and we wanted to share this with everyone. Charissa and her family travel around the world to meet their daughter Ava and we followed this journey closely as it melted our hearts. This is a true blessing and shows that our precious DS children can do anything in life and Ava with the love of her family has come along way already. Ava you our God's blessing. Hugs to the Urban family. Here is a video made by thier family when Ava came home.
And here is Ava today. Look how much she has bloosomed with the love of her family.

Tomororw is Halloween and this year I will be home handing out treats to the little ones. I look back at last halloween and remember the sparkle in Ashleys eyes as she went door to door saying trick or treat. She had such a great time and looked beautiful in her princess costume. She mentioned in her letter that I got the other day how much fun she had last year and how she wished that I was taking her again this year. I thank God that We had last year together and that she has so many great memories of it.

I got my first letter from Ashley yesterday. This is the first since she left in March. I cried while reading it; happy tears to hear from here and all the good times she mentioned that we had together and sad tears as I miss her so much. I wish that I could just hug her once more, to kiss her on top of her head, to hear that cute little giggle and see that shiny glimps in her eyes. No matter what happens in life or wherever she is she is still my daughter and always will be and she says that no matter what I will always be here mom... I love you Ashley!!!

WHAT ESTHER TELLS PEOPLE ABOUT ME...LOL
She has long hair and wears sun glasses, has more confidence than a person should be allowed to have , a huge sence of humor,,, funny as hell, the mouth of a trucker, the heart of an angel, and protective just like a best friend should be, and I protect her. Makes me laugh when I cry, and makes me cry laughing. She's the best, and since I don't take to people at all, just the fact that I hang out with her says more than a lot. And something really special about her, me and her are so very different, but, we accept each other as is, "I'm the quiet one", she accepts me as is and its so awesome.
She's terrific.

GREAT NEWS
I am sure most of you remember our Ashley who joined the family and was then placed back in MN. Well Ashley has not been readopted and is in a foster home there. Her worker contacted me tonight and after 7 months they have agreed to let me have contact with her. We will start with letters and pictures and advance from there. There was more discussed but things need to be really talked about and I will keep you all updated.
